Make Nasty Dirty Money! Lot of people ask me which of those two ways are better… should you sell your stuff or someone else’s stuff? Well, I know hundreds of online business owners, and I’ve looked at countless online businesses…and all my experience tells me this:

You really should have your own products – that gives you control, positioning, greater margins, and pricing power. However, you will never be able to create enough products to fulfill all your clients and prospects needs. Which is why you need to sell other people’s products. You will be leaving lots of money on the table if you ONLY sell your products. Join the Affiliate Classroom 2.0.
Yes, there are rare exceptions to this, but for almost all businesses if you sell other people’s stuff it will smooth out your cash flow and create a more robust business.

One thing that is VERY common and makes a ton of sense is to focus on selling other people’s stuff when you’re first starting out. That way you can focus on building out your site and your traffic systems – and you don’t need to worry about product creation, shopping carts, customer service, etc..
So you sell other people’s stuff to get started and get initial cash flow as you get your rolling. Then eventually you create your own products, and focus more on selling your stuff. But even after you’re established, you continue to sell other people’s stuff for the reasons I outlined above. At this point, one of the best ways to sell other people’s stuff is through affiliate programs.
That’s how I started out way back, and I still generate LOTS of revenue with affiliate programs. Even though the vast majority of my revenue comes from selling my own stuff, I have no intention of walking away from all that affiliate revenue. It smoothes my cash flow and rounds out what I can offer to my clients.

Affiliate marketing is very easy. Just join an affiliate program and start promoting your affiliate link. As easy as that! You must have read this statement countless number of times. But how terribly wrong this statement is!
Let me explain how. Affiliate marketing is no doubt a low cost method of starting your own online business but it is not as easy as the gurus want you to know.
